Kids activities during YONEX Dutch Junior International
Did you know that there are all kinds of fun activities for children during the YONEX Dutch Junior International ? What do you say about badminton bingo? Which badminton moves do you see passing by during the matches? Cross them off on your Dutch Junior bingo card. You can join the crafting workshop or try badminton yourself too. And of course there are great prizes to win! Below you see the activities that were organized during the 2025 edition.
Badminton Bingo
All tournament days. Go to the Kids corner for more info
Age: 4 years and older
Where: DEGIRO hall
Cost: Free
To participate: Come in and report to the Kids Corner in the canteen
This is not just any bingo, but a Badminton Bingo! Which badminton moves do you see during the matches? Cross them off on your Badminton Bingo card.
Come in during the tournament and report
to the Kids Corner in the canteen. You will then receive your own card.

Scavenger hunt
Age: 6 years and older
Where: DEGIRO hall
Cost: Free
To participate: come in and report to the Kids Corner in the canteen
The Dutch Junior starts on Wednesday and there will be plenty to do in the DEGIRO-hall. In addition to watching mega exciting games, you can participate in a treasure hunt yourself. You can do the treasure hunt together with your own group or alone with a parent/supervisor. And who knows, you might manage to find the big prize! Come in on Wednesday afternoon and report to the Kids Corner in the canteen.
Craft workshop with MooiZooi
Where: DEGIRO-hall, report in the canteen at the Kids Corner Age: 4 years and older
Costs: Free Participation: walk in (it may be busy, you can watch the matches while waiting)
During the YONEX Dutch Junior International, participate in the badminton craft workshop for children aged (approximately) 4 to 10 years. Decorate a badminton court with the most beautiful, sustainable materials from MooiZooi. This workshop is provided and supervised by MooiZooi. You can report to the Kids Corner in the canteen on the day itself.

Lasergame
Age: 6 years and older
Where: Sports halls of Spaarne College, accessible via the DEGIRO hall
Cost: Free
There is plenty to do in the hall during the YONEX Dutch Junior. In addition to the exciting
competitions, you can also participate in something exciting: come play laser tag!
The games are played in two different halls and in two groups of seven players per hall. We divide the groups, but of course we try to take any preferences into account. We will arrange something tasty for the break. Register quickly, because full = full. Brothers, sisters, friends are welcome!
