Information for visitors
Welcome to the 42nd Yonex Dutch Junior International
From Wednesday, February 28 to Sunday, March 3 2024, the 42nd edition of the Yonex Dutch Junior International will take place in DEGIRO-hall in Haarlem. This international badminton tournament for top players under 19 is one of the four Youth Grand Prix International Tournaments in which players from Asia and Europe can measure their strengths.
Free entrance
We treat you to a true badminton spectacle with about 350 participants from four different continents. All matches have free entrance. With the grandstand close to the courts, you are always first in line in the DEGIRO hall!
Kids activities
In addition to many exciting matches, there are all kinds of kids activities during the tournament. What do you say about crafting with shuttles and other residual material from Mooizooi? Or try badminton bingo! Which badminton moves do you see passing by during the matches? Cross them off on your Dutch Junior bingo card. Of course you can also come and try badminton yourself or make a beautiful coloring page. And of course there are great prizes to win! View the agenda for details.
Food & drinks
In addition to watching top-level free matches every day, you can also enjoy good food and drinks in the hall.
Parking
There is limited space around the DEGIRO-hall to park cars. We therefore advise visitors to park on the site of the Kennemer Sportcenter, IJsbaanlaan 4A in Haarlem. This is a few minutes walk from DEGIRO-hall. The municipality regularly checks for incorrect parking, so cars that are in the wrong position can expect a fine. Unfortunately we have no influence on this.
